Community "Works" Project
Posted: 07-Mar-11
Great News! The Community "Works" Project is continuing on thanks to our AIS funders. AS the funders requested AIS extend the grant money to March 31, 2012 some changes were made in the staffing for the remainder of the Project. For the second stage, we were able to engage two Job Coaches rather then three, as well as, the Project Coordinator. We also reduced the number of new participants to seven individuals. This stage is winding down although staff will continue to job develop/job search and follow along with all participants that have been involved in the Project. For the final group of participants we are further reducing the number of participants to five. This will allow staff to provide better service to all. The Employability/Life Skills sessions for the third group will begin October 11, 2011 and continue for four weeks.
